Are you a highly skilled and experienced Technology expert looking to make a significant impact on critical financial systems? Join our team as a Senior Engineering Lead for the Strategic Ledger Program, where you will provide pivotal technical leadership and guidance in enhancing and innovating our Design, delivery & Oracle SaaS capabilities. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless coverage and support for our ongoing and upcoming program rollouts, contributing directly to the strategic growth of our enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Delivery & Support: Drive successful planning, execution, and continuous support of infrastructure components for key programs within the PCT portfolio, including Strategic Ledger, Global Accounting Engine, Accounting Engine, and eRecon.
  • Technical Leadership & Architectural Guidance: Provide expert technical leadership and strategic direction in the design, development, and implementation of scalable and effective automation solutions leveraging latest AI models and tools
  • Oracle SaaS Platform Ownership:
    Provide end-to-end leadership and operational oversight for Oracle SaaS applications, ensuring high availability, resiliency, scalability, and data integrity.
  • SaaS Integration Architecture:
    Design, govern, and support secure, scalable integrations between Oracle SaaS platforms and On‑Prem / Cloud-based systems using OCI Integration Cloud, SOA, REST APIs, file-based data import/export, event-driven messaging, and middleware platforms.
  • Infrastructure Innovation: Champion and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing existing infrastructure capabilities and fostering a culture of innovation within the infrastructure engineering domain.
  • Project & Delivery Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects across the PCT portfolio, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Strategic Initiatives Management: Lead and deliver critical strategic infrastructure projects, including:
    • Iceberg Proof of Concept (POC): Oversee the exploration and implementation of Iceberg for optimizing data lake architecture and performance.
    • Accounting Vault Implementation: Drive the successful deployment of Accounting Vault solutions to bolster data security, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
    • Solace Migration & Optimization: Lead the comprehensive migration to and optimization of Solace messaging platforms to improve real-time data flow and system integration.
    • Chatbot Development: Guide the development and integration of AI-powered chatbots to streamline and automate accounting processes, improving efficiency and user experience.
    • CI/CD Pipeline Streamlining: Drive the adoption of engineering excellence tools and best practices to optimize and automate Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring rapid and reliable software deployment.
  • Environment Strategy & Lifecycle Management:
    Lead strategy for Oracle SaaS environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PRE-PROD, PROD), including refreshes, cloning, masking, cutover planning, and ongoing environment hygiene.
  • Release & Patch Management:
    Own Oracle quarterly patching and release cycles, assessing functional and technical impact, coordinating regression testing, validating integrations, and ensuring smooth production deployments with zero or minimal business disruption.
  • Security, Risk & Compliance:
    Ensure Oracle SaaS infrastructure and integrations comply with enterprise security standards, SOX, audit, and regulatory controls, including identity integration (SSO, IAM), role design, data access governance, and encryption standards.
  • Performance Monitoring & Incident Management:
    Establish proactive monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning for Oracle SaaS workloads and integrations; lead root cause analysis for production incidents and drive permanent remediation.
  • SaaS Cost & License Optimization:
    Partner with finance, procurement, and Oracle vendors to manage SaaS subscription usage, optimize licensing costs, track consumption, and forecast future infrastructure needs.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with third-party vendors and collaborate with various internal stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery and technology adoption.
  • Global Team Leadership & Mentorship: Potentially lead, mentor, and develop global engineering teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on technical growth and high performance.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Infrastructure & Platform Expertise:
    • Demonstrated expertise in Physical Server Cluster Design, Procurement, and Build, including hardware selection (HP, Dell, IBM) and Network configurations (NICs).
    • In-depth knowledge of Storage solutions such as SONIC, SAN, and SDS ScaleIO, with proven ability to recommend optimal storage solutions for various application designs.
    • Extensive experience with Platform Migration strategies and execution in complex enterprise environments, including OS migrations, Hardware migrations, Data Center Migrations, and Cloud Migrations.
    • Strong proficiency in containerization tools for orchestrating and managing scalable application deployments, using OpenShift ECS solution.
  • Oracle SaaS Infrastructure Expertise:
    • Proven ability to translate business finance requirements into scalable Oracle SaaS infrastructure and integration solutions.
    • Strong experience leading Oracle SaaS transformations or migrations from legacy/on-prem accounting platforms.
    • Ability to mentor teams on Oracle SaaS best practices, Cloud-First design, and operational excellence.
    • Strategic mindset with experience shaping long-term SaaS platform roadmaps aligned to enterprise architecture.
  • DevOps & Automation:
    • Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools, including LSE and GitHub.
    • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Chef for automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
    • Proficiency in leveraging various Automation tools to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • System Administration & Troubleshooting:
    • Hands-On administration experience with Linux & Unix servers with proficiency in bash or Korn shell scripting.
    • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks of data processing applications.

  • Database & Application Technologies:
    • Advanced Administration knowledge of Oracle DB, performance tuning, and architectural best practices.
    • Strong Experience with Ab Initio, administering and setting up components such as Co>Operating System, Control Center, Meta Data Hub, Query>IT, and Express>IT for enterprise-grade data processing and integration solutions.
    • Familiarity with Tomcat application server environments and their configuration.
    • Experience with ServiceNow Solution Projects for Hardware procurements and integrating IT Service Management processes.
  • Emerging Technologies & Methodologies:
    • Foundational knowledge of Generative AI Frameworks and their potential applications in financial services.
    • Proficiency in Agile methodologies for project management and software development lifecycle.
  • Project & Vendor Management:
    • Proven ability in Technology Project Management, particularly for large-scale infrastructure initiatives such as Data Center Migrations, Cloud Migrations, Storage Migrations, and Hardware Upgrades.
    • Experience in Third-party vendor management, including selection, negotiation, and ongoing performance monitoring.
    • Demonstrate expertise in Hardware Procurement and cost management principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, with a significant portion in a lead or senior technical role within a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex infrastructure projects and leading technical teams.
