This strategic role focuses on driving transformational initiatives and tangible improvements within Technology and Business Enablement (T&BE). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces innovative problem-solving, excels at collaborating with diverse teams, and possesses a strong understanding of financial services business models, technology, and operations.  This leader will shape our future landscape by identifying opportunities, leading strategic initiatives, and driving improvements across the organization. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are essential for negotiating internally and externally, influencing stakeholders, and achieving alignment on strategic initiatives. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's strategic direction.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Initiative Leadership:

    • Lead the development and implementation of complex, global programs to enhance and simplify processes, aligning with overall corporate strategy and objectives.

    • Provide full oversight of end-to-end program execution, from problem identification and requirements gathering to solution implementation, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment with timeline expectations.

    • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized review, tracking, and reporting mechanisms for global programs, ensuring transparency and accountability.

    • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and issues across global programs, coordinating mitigation efforts and escalating critical issues as needed.

  • Strategic Analysis and Planning:

    • Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess new opportunities, potential solutions, and strategic direction, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.

    • Continuously monitor emerging industry trends, technological advancements, and potential disruptors to inform strategic planning and maintain a competitive edge.

    • Provide insightful ad-hoc analysis and tactical support for business and management meetings, including preparing compelling executive-level presentations.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders, tailoring the message to the specific audience.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, breaking down silos and facilitating open communication to achieve shared objectives.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging influence and negotiation skills to drive decisions and achieve alignment.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Document findings from analyses and develop actionable recommendations for implementing new systems, optimizing procedures, and driving organizational change, presenting proposals with clear cost-benefit analyses and implementation plans.

    • Analyze existing processes, leveraging industry best practices and benchmarking data, to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and cost reduction.

    • Plan and implement innovative solutions to address work problems and optimize procedures related to organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, and cost analysis, driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Exercise sound judgment and adhere to the highest ethical business practices in all decision-making, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.

    • Ensure meticulous compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.

    • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and maintains its competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Services, with a focus on Program/Project Management, Lean/Six Sigma process improvement, change management, or related areas.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, large-scale projects with significant business impact.

  • Prior consulting experience with a top-tier firm is highly valued.

  • Deep understanding of financial services businesses, operating models, and regulatory landscape.

  • Proven strategic thinking, exceptional analytical skills, and strong financial acumen.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate a complex matrix organization, influence without authority, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to build consensus and drive collaboration across diverse teams.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented, and forward-thinking problem solver with a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Education

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
