Job Overview
The Program Mgmt Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role and is responsible for participating in procurement activities related to execute sourcing and contracting transactions in a productive, efficient, and high-quality manner; these activities include, defining the need for goods and services, negotiating price contracts and contracting activities such as contract document drafting, maintenance, and administration. The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the sourcing process for the various products and services within the sourcing team
- Perform Sourcing activities with attention to mitigating risk by driving standard process, procedures and controls while ensuring Risk & Control Audit readiness
- Manage projects related to contracting processes, ensuring proper document maintenance and administration.
- Facilitate sourcing process and assist cross-functional team in developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier management strategies, and contract negotiations including drafting and red-lining contracts
- Support all aspects of sourcing and contract processes including strategy, negotiation, contract approval, execution, contract extension, amendment, and termination.
- Liaise with sourcing team, legal, internal customers, and suppliers to meet audit guidelines and adhere to Citi processes and procedures..
- Ensure compliance with strict risk and control procedures throughout the contract management process.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop efficient end-to-end contract management processes.
- Manage the analysis, negotiation and draft of contract documents, as well as oversee contracting process to minimize risk exposure while providing optimal terms and conditions for the contracted goods or services
- Identify opportunities to leverage new and existing tools and processes to create process efficiencies.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team
- May perform country specific sourcing tasks from time to time, including spend analysis, market data analysis, cost financial analysis, eRFX/eAuction, saves reporting, contract management.
- Identifies program risks, perform probability and impact analysis, determine responses to risks, track risks, and execute responses as needed.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years relevant Sourcing or vendor management experience
- Advance English and Portuguese is required
- Good knowledge of contract management principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using contract management tools and software.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments in contract management practices.
Education & skills
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in contract management processes.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate data and identify insights for informed decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address contract-related issues and find practical solutions.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills to engage with suppliers and ensure favorable contract terms.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, fostering positive working relationships.
