Job Overview

As a senior test anlayst of the User Acceptance Testing team, the person will be responsible for testing & managing Global Fund Services Applications (Middle Office Applications) within Client Bank’s portfolio. The senior test analyst is responsible for interacting with Global IT, Business and Operations teams to provide a high quality of product to the internal and external clients and meet the agreed and expected service standards. The job role may involve management, coordination or contribution to one, few or all phases of STLC i.e. Test Planning, Design, Execution, Defect Management and Reporting.

Primary Responsibilities -

• •Translates operational needs into business requirements and shares with product for Epic/User Story Creation by Product
  •Write user stories for operational requirements (require clarity on these points)
  •Represent Operations in Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies, ensuring operational considerations are incorporated
  •Review testing and participate in demos to validate functionality and adherence to acceptance criteria
  •Assess operational impacts of new features, including staffing needs and support models
  •Provides SME support to the strategic programs - contributing to Current and Future state target operating model (process view)
  •Define, document, and monitor operational readiness criteria for change implementation
  •Ensure a robust commercialization plan is in place for projects to ensure operational readiness and track through execution
  •Develop and deliver training for internal teams and clients on new features
  •Release communication on new product/ features.
  •Responsible for data governance of business rules, review, and approval of data for new enhancement
  •Work with operations to ensure any necessary Risk and Control updates are understood and implemented, including following manual/bespoke process approvals
  •Access entitlement management
  •Own Sanity testing & Production Verification Testing (PVT) execution as needed for projects getting released into production, including preparing PVT scenarios / plans/scripts/supporting documents for sign off.
• Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution and reporting for testing assignments

• Extensive liaison and direct contact with a diverse range of business and technology functions, both within the bank and clients

• Support the Project Manager and Test Manager by contributing to the Test Plan(s) for the relevant test phases, the Test Readiness Reviews, test progress reporting, the Test Completion/Summary Reports and Test Defect Reports

• Prepare & review Test Strategy, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and TCM for a given test assignment

• Play a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, working closely with business, technology and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings

• Assist in the reception and quality assurance of the business requirements, solution design and business process documents individual projects.

• Conduct Defect and Status calls with quick responsiveness on high priority action items

• Develop help guides/ User Manual/ MIS reports as per requirement

• Ability to transform requirements to Business Scenarios & Requirement Traceability Matrix

• Ability to create Test artifacts like Test Strategy, Test Plan, Scope etc.

• Expert in Testing Tool - HP Application Lifecycle Management or JIRA

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with cross functional teams

• Strong interpersonal, analytical & problem-solving skills

• Collaborative approach towards achieving results

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Commerce

• 8-9 years of experience in testing lifecycle in Investment Banking domain

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Securities and Fund Services domain
