Job Overview

The Data Analytics Senior Analyst is a developing professional role. This role identifies and solves moderately complex problems and applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. It requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. The Senior Analyst deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. The role integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. The role has a direct impact on the business by ensuring the quality of the tasks/services provided.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and implementation of data quality procedures and controls to help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Support the implementation of the data governance model for Markets Ops.
• Work with the Markets Ops team to understand data concepts and Critical Data Elements.
• Assist in identifying and raising Data Concern and Remediation Management (DCRM) items, and partner with Technology and Data Stewards for remediation.
• Support the delivery and management of technical data programs.
• Demonstrate experience in contributing to change in a collaborative, agile team environment.
• Monitor deadlines and adapt to unexpected requirement changes.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work within a delivery framework.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing presentations for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Develop knowledge of modern technology, architecture, and infrastructure.
• Work independently and as part of virtual teams to deliver on project outcomes.
• Work with Operations stakeholders to build and manage relationships.
• Ensure project scope and requirements are clearly documented and understood by all stakeholders.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of issues.
• Adhere to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery as defined by Citi PM standards.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role supporting cross-functional projects.
• Strong skills in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Working knowledge of Global Markets and Global Markets Operations.
• Prior experience in Data Analytics and/or Data Governance is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$77,280.00 - $115,920.00
