The Project Group Manager is a Senior Program Management Lead role that

is accountable for management and delivery of complex/large portfolio of programs, including client change and client onboarding within the area of Securities Services Middle Office and Funds Operations. 

Role includes high level of exposure to clients, Product, Technology and Operations’ senior stakeholders, therefore requires comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the programs objectives, as well as excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally and externally.


Individual in this role will also be responsible for program management practice, standards and policy formulation, planning and execution.


Responsibilities:
•    Manage and drive day-to-day delivery of multiple programs, incl. planning, control and executing to milestones and budget on multiple complex projects.
•   Manage stakeholders and key organizations in order to build and manage relationships with each.
•    Direct the creation of multiple work projects and manage their alignment to business goals and strategy.
•    Drive adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the managed portfolio.
•    Lead the facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across programs and with Senior Management.
•    Lead the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.
•    Drive adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the managed portfolio.
•    Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
•    Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:
•    10+ years relevant project/program management experience, preferred experience in running large programs of work for Securities Services
•    At least 5-10 years’ experience in leading and developing project teams/professionals through dynamic growth and delivering saves, planning capacity
•    Track of record in standardizing and driving procedures and policies across program and project management practice
•    Extensive relationship building and stakeholder management skills
•    Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
•    Independent, self-motivated and hard working
•    Executive presence; ability to have voice heard
•    Time flexible (holiday schedule is client based, time schedule is task-based, hybrid work required)
•    Good working knowledge of: project methodologies and tools, MS Project, MS Excel and PowerPoint

Education:
•    Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$134,960.00 - $202,440.00
