Job Overview

The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Process securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products
• Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues, and make process improvement recommendations to leadership
• Analyze moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements, aid in control activities, and contribute to the launch of product services
• Monitor and suggest solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
• Escalate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
• Design and analyze moderately complex reports, in coordination with standards set by direct leadership
• Assist with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
• Ensure processes adhere to audit and control policies
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of macros

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance

Buscamos unAnalista de Back Office de Marketspara el área de Operaciones de Servicios de Transacción. Esta posición es100% operativa y administrativa, enfocada en elcontrol, administración, liquidación y validación contable de productos derivados OTC y regulados.

La persona no ejecuta operaciones en el mercado, sino quevalida y controlaque los procesos y registros generados por el sistema sean correctos.

¿Qué hará esta persona?

• Controlar y validar lacontabilidad de productos derivadosgenerada por el sistema, asegurando que los campos y registros sean correctos.
• Gestionar laliquidación y administraciónde transacciones de derivados OTC y regulados.
• Identificar y resolverproblemas de liquidacióny proponer mejoras a la gerencia.
• Analizar reportes de complejidad moderada para cumplir con los requerimientos de gestión yactividades de control.
• Monitorear errores y proponer soluciones paraminimizar el riesgo operativo.
• Asegurar que los procesos cumplan con laspolíticas de auditoría y control.
• Escalar problemas de procesamiento al área correspondiente y colaborar en su resolución.

Conocimientos y Experiencia:

• 0-2 años de experiencia en áreas operativas o administrativas del sector financiero.
• Conocimiento de productos derivados OTC y regulados(contratos de FX, futuros, opciones, swaps, etc.).
• Nociones contables sólidas:La persona debe entender cargos, abonos y registros contables para poder validar los procesos del sistema.
• Comprensión de productos de Tesorería y políticas regulatorias.
• No se requiere certificación AMIIB(ese perfil corresponde a Front Office).
• Inglés intermedio-avanzado:Necesario para sostener conversaciones y redactar correos en el día a día.
• ✅ Es un rol deBack Office, enfocado en el control y validación de procesos operativos y contables de derivados.

Habilidades:

• Perfilordenado, analítico y orientado al detalle.
• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno de alto ritmo y gestionar múltiples tareas simultáneamente.
• Habilidad para trabajar en entornos de alto riesgo operativo.
