Job Overview
The KYC Operations Analyst 2 is an intermediate-level position responsible for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) monitoring, governance, oversight and regulatory reporting activities in coordination with the Compliance and Control team. The overall objective of this role is to develop and manage a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts
- Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with local regulation and Citi standards
- Update KYC forms and client profiles according to policy requirements
- Follow up with clients to ensure information is received before due dates
- Perform KYC tasks, including monitoring and tracking of the KYC records and Appendix approval process, assisting with the development and execution of action planning for expiring records, and ensuring records are not past due
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in banking operations, preferably in the client account opening and pre-requirements process
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Escolaridad
- Licenciatura o Ingeniería concluida con título profesional en Criminología, Finanzas, Economía, Informática, Sistemas Computacionales, Administración, Contaduría, Derecho, Actuaría o carreras afines.
Experiencia
- Experiencia previa en el sector financiero o bancario.
- Experiencia en procesos relacionados con KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Prevención de Lavado de Dinero y Cumplimiento Regulatorio.
- Experiencia en contacto telefónico con clientes para validación, seguimiento y recopilación de información (INDISPENSABLE)
Conocimientos Técnicos
- Manejo de Microsoft Office a nivel intermedio:
- Excel
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Inglés básico-intermedio (deseable).
- Deseable conocimiento de herramientas de investigación y análisis de información.

- Alta capacidad analítica y atención al detalle.
- Excelente comunicación verbal y escrita.
- Tolerancia a la frustración, ya que la posición está altamente orientada al cumplimiento de objetivos y resultados.
- Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y gestionar múltiples actividades simultáneamente.
- Proactividad y orientación a la resolución de problemas.
- Alto sentido de responsabilidad, ética y confidencialidad.
- Trabajo en equipo y apego a procedimientos.
Objetivo del Puesto
- Completar expedientes para ejecutar actividades de análisis, investigación y validación de clientes, garantizando el cumplimiento de las políticas internas y regulatorias en materia de KYC, AML y Prevención de Delitos Financieros, contribuyendo al logro de los objetivos e indicadores del área ART 115 LEY DE INSTITUCIONES DE CREDITO
