Job Overview

The Community Development Grp Mgr is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Examination management, including serving as a point of contact for Citi with regulatory agencies on fair lending matters.
  • Project design and project management, coordinating on behalf of the Fair Lending team with internal stakeholders, including business officers, legal, compliance, and risk.
  • Management of the annual renewal of Citi's U.S. Fair Lending Policy and Standards
  • Facilitation of the annual Fair Lending Risk Assessment process for Citi's U.S. consumer businesses to assess their fair lending risks and controls, and develop forward-looking fair lending plans.
  • Ensuring a consistent level of preparation, presentation and follow-through on all internal reviews.
  • Organization of forums for communicating fair lending issues and best practices, including monthly Corporate Fair Lending Committee meetings and Citi's annual multi-day fair lending training.
  • Development and submission of an annual Corporate Fair Lending budget and strategic plan.
  • Performance of supplementary fair lending tasks as assigned by the Corporate Fair Lending Director.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and project management skills and ability to work on teams and with others
  • 10+ Years of comparable experience
  • Regulatory or banking industry experience in fair lending is a plus


Education:

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree

El Gerente Senior de Grupo de Desarrollo Comunitario gestiona múltiples equipos a través de otros gerentes. Es responsable de apoyar la construcción de la estrategia y ejecutarla, así como de la planeación, presupuesto, formulación de políticas y gestión de personal.

RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Responsabilidad administrativa de las operaciones, controles e inversiones de Fomento Social.

  • Proporcionar orientación y acompañamiento programático.

  • Participar en el equipo de liderazgo senior.

  • Liderar equipos con alto desempeño.

  • Reclutar, desarrollar y mantener talento diverso.

  • Gestionar relaciones con gobiernos municipales, estatales y organizaciones sin fines de lucro para crear en conjunto iniciativas de alto impacto

  • Colaborar internamente en el diseño y ejecución de proyectos.

  • Generar validación y alianzas con socios estratégicos.

  • Evaluar riesgos reputacionales locales y apoyar la evaluación de impacto.

  • Monitorear datos de desempeño local.

  • Cumplir con obligaciones regulatorias.

  • Representar a Banamex en eventos públicos y en consejos de organizaciones sociales.

  • Evaluar riesgos y asegurar el cumplimiento normativo.

REQUISITOS Y EDUCACIÓN

  •  Licenciatura en derecho, ciencias políticas, sociología o carreras afines, altamente recomendable Maestría y cursos de especialización en el Tercer Sector.

  • Necesariaexperiencia de 10 años o más en economía del cuidado y temas relacionados en salud, educación y desarrollo de la comunidad.

  • Experiencia en gestión y liderazgo.

  • Experiencia en atención de desastres.

  • Manejo de Inglés Avanzado. (Necesario)

HABILIDADES

  • Conocimiento de fundaciones empresariales, políticas públicas y sociales, gestión en crisis y sector social

  •  Constante actualización de la problemática nacional

  • Alta capacidad de liderazgo

  • Manejo de prensa

  • Liderazgo
