Job Overview
The CSIS Security Officer is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.
Responsibilities:
- This role will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of Citi by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterprise
- This role will leverage subject matter expertise, whether that is physical security and safety, crisis management, security technology, event security/logistics or vendor management
- Work in the field with little or no supervision
- Decisions must be made taking into consideration your surroundings and situation
- Situations may include; medical/urgent problems, use of firearm to thwart any harm that may come to you or your protectee, cover and evacuating the protectee, kidnapping attempts, robbery attempts or any other harm that may come to one of our protectees.
- Prepare advances for the protectee to make sure that all aspects of the advance are covered
- These include routes, arrival/departure points, counter-surveillance, safe houses, hospitals, airports and any other natural disaster that may occur
- Maintain Citi assets in working order to ensure that equipment is perpetual readiness state
- Ensure that security procedures are enforced and revised for all matters related to the operation and that all security personnel are trained to respond to emergency situations
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Associate's degree plus equivalent work experience/High School diploma plus equivalent work experience
- Experience in adhering current security protocols, operations manuals and guides
- Proven ability to foster relationships and interface with external agencies to promote functional excellence
- Demonstrated experience in making sound judgements at a moment’s notice
- Has maintained corporate assets, to include lease vehicles and equipment in a state of perpetual readiness enough to meet or surpass requirements
- Can articulates basic understanding of security vulnerabilities and suggests preventative measures to assist in the mitigation of these potential risks
- Experience in working with security & safety technology
- Demonstrated ability to follow security and safety instructions and procedures; reporting anything out of the ordinary to management and obey rules and regulations set out in delegations of duty, verbal instructions and company policies
- Relevant experience in a private/public sector security environment
- Professional Security certifications
- Experience working in a corporate or financial services security team
- Flexibility to work on call off hours/weekends

- Bachelors degree

El analista del Centro de Comando es el principal responsable de recibir llamadas de emergencia de los 40,000 empleados de México, acceder a sistemas de recepción de alarmas y videovigilancia CCTV, así como coordinar el esfuerzo de respuesta. Proporciona información oportuna y precisa a empleados de la institución con el fin de orientar y dar apoyo, así como a al personal de las áreas de apoyo. Realiza el monitoreo del CCTV de todas las instalaciones de la institución a nivel nacional a fin de detectar, prevenir y mitigar cualquier situación que ponga en peligro la integridad de clientes, empleados, resguardar los activos de la institución, así como salvaguardar la reputación de esta. Además, generará informes iniciales de incidentes con fines de seguridad e investigación.
Funciones:
Verificar las alarmas relacionadas con la seguridad utilizando CCTV como apoyo
Despachar con cuerpos de emergencia y proporcionar actualizaciones de situación a los gerentes de seguridad.
Atención de llamadas de emergencia
Tomar decisiones de sentido común y ejercitar la acción durante situaciones de alta tensión y estresantes.
Monitoreo de sistemas de video vigilancia (CCTV).
Identificación de riesgos.
Realizar análisis de video de modus operandi de los ilícitos detectados mediante la vigilancia en CCTV.
Manejo confidencial de imágenes, video e información.
Mantener el conocimiento de la ubicación y el estado de varios miembros del personal de seguridad.
Proporcionar conocimiento de la situación de los problemas que ocurren en todas las regiones a través de informes de los medios de comunicación y establecer comunicación intergrupal con otros elementos de apoyo.
Utilizar sistemas de información geográfica para determinar el riesgo potencial y los incidentes que ocurren en las cercanías de los activos de la institución.
Proporcionar información con fines de investigación al hacer uso de los datos y la información disponible en las bases de datos de seguridad sensibles.
Utilizar programas de Microsoft Office para generar informes y acceder a información relacionada con la seguridad.
Requisitos:
Escolaridad: Licenciatura (preferente).
Experiencia de 3 años en adelante en funcionesoperativas de seguridad, monitoreo de sistemas de video vigilancia (CCTV).
Indispensable manejo de PC y paquetería Office intermedio alto.
Manejo de Sistemas de Seguridad.
Resolución de conflictos y situaciones de emergencia.
Conocimiento en Plataformas de Recepción de Alarmas.
NecesarioFlexibilidad y total disponibilidad para rolar turnos, horarios y días de descanso, noche y festivos. Operación 24/7
Habilidades: Comunicación asertiva, Análisis de información, Atención al detalle ,Habilidad para ejecutar procedimientos ,Trabajo bajo presión ,Apego a normas y ética laboral ,Orientación al cliente, Alta capacidad de reacción ante eventos de alto impacto, Alta capacidad de reacción ante eventos de alto impacto (Toma de decisiones ),Flexible a la retroalimentación y Trabajo en equipo.
