Job Overview

The Balance Sheet Mgmt Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the governance of funding, investing and analytics of the balance sheet. This includes
• Participates in managing liquidity and interest rate risk, the capital/legal entity structure and capital planning as well as managing rating agency relationships.
• Involved in capital markets activities including commercial paper and securitization; liquidity, accrual risk oversight and transfer pricing.
• Manages implementation of procedures and development of analyses and report.
• Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic comprehensive knowledge of related industry practices.
• Uses good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the overall aims of the area.
• Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
• Delivers routine and defined outputs.
• Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures as appropriate.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

El Analista de Cuentas de Balances es una función profesional de un empleado en desarrollo. Aplica conocimientos específicos del área en el control, la examinación, el análisis o la evaluación de procesos y datos. Interpreta datos y realiza recomendaciones. Investiga e interpreta información basada en los hechos. Identifica incongruencias en los datos o resultados, define problemas de negocios y formula recomendaciones sobre políticas, procedimientos o prácticas. Integra conocimiento disciplinario establecido dentro de su propia área de especialidad con la comprensión básica de las prácticas de la industria relacionadas. Debe tener una buena comprensión del modo en que el equipo interactúa con otros para lograr los objetivos del área.

Responsabilidades:

• Revisar y analizar las cuentas que integran el balance general, asegurando la correcta integración y consistencia de la información financiera.
• Validar la exactitud de los saldos y movimientos contables, identificando diferencias, inconsistencias o variaciones y dando seguimiento a su aclaracion y correción.
• Analizar las cuentas contables y sus referencias, verificando que los movimientos registrados se encuentren correctamente clasificados, soportados y alineados con las politicas contables establecidad
• Elaborar y mantener la documentación y soportes de las cuentas de balance, asegurando la trazabilidad de la información y facilitando los procesos de revisión y auditoria
• Participar en procesos de conciliacion y cierre contable.

Calificaciones:

• Habilidades de comunicación clara y concisa.
• Habilidades comprobadas de análisis
• Habilidades avanzadas en uso de Excel.
• Conocimientos intermedios en temas contables.
• Entre 0 y 2 años de experiencia relevante.
• Trabajo en equipo.

Educación:

• licenciatura en contabilidad.
