Job Overview

The Specialized Analytics Sr Anlst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

• Incumbents work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies
• Identifies and compiles data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. SQL, Access) to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business to business outcomes
• Responsible for documenting data requirements, data collection / processing / cleaning, and exploratory data analysis; which may include utilizing statistical models / algorithms and data visualization techniques
• Incumbents in this role may often be referred to as Data Scientists
• Specialization in marketing, risk, digital and AML fields possible
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Recommended Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience
• Must have the ability to retrieve and manipulation data
• Advanced analytic ability and problem solving skills to proactively address business questions with innovative data driven solutions
• Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams in order
• Working experience in a quantitative field, Financial/Credit Card industry
• Willing to learn and can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, flexible and adaptive to matrix work environment

Education:

• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

El Analista Senior de Arquitectura de Soluciones IA forma parte del equipo de AI Automation Factory para Operaciones. Define como se construyen las plataformas de agentes y los módulos de IA de forma consistente, segura y reutilizable. Tiene la responsabilidad de que cada solución cumpla con los estándares técnicos del banco y puedan integrarse sin fricciones a los flujos operativos. Las soluciones se desarrollarán utilizando una cuenta AWS externa o lab interno ya ambientado, la arquitectura desarrollada debe estar preparada para migración a la cuenta AWS oficial de Banamex.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluación técnica de los casos de uso propuestos por el equipo de operaciones: viabilidad, complejidad, riesgo y costo/esfuerzo.
• Diseñar e implementar agentes inteligentes desacoplados y escalables.
• Selección y justificación de herramientas y modelos LLM, considerando costo, accuracy y cumplimiento de seguridad.
• Desplegar soluciones en una cuenta AWS externa o lab interno, utilizando Infrastructure as Code.
• Integrar agentes con pipelines de datos basados en Apache Spark.
• Orquestar procesos de datos sobre plataformas Cloudera.
• Diseñar desde el inicio una arquitectura preparada para migración a la cuenta AWS oficial de Banamex.

Conocimientos técnicos requeridos

• LLMs y frameworks de agentes
• Promp engineering avanzado: few-shot, chain-of-though, structured outputs, function calling
• Python (nivel producción)
• Procesamiento de documentos: PDF, OCR, extracción de texto estructurado
• Evaluación de calidad de LLMs, métricas de accuracy, confidence scoring, benchmarks
• Seguridad en sistemas financieros, cifrado en tránsito

Tecnologías Clave

• AWS: IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, EKS/ECS
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
• Datos: Apache Spark, Cloudera Platform, SQL
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins Agentes y AI: Arquitecturas de agentes, integración con LLMs

Perfil profesional

• Ingeniería en computación, sistemas, software, ciencia de datos o afín
• 5+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de software
• Experiencia en construcción de de soluciones con LLMs o IA generativa
• Proyectos demostrables donde haya diseñado e integrado agentes de IA o pipelines de extracción de información (GitHub, portafolio o casos documentados)
• Capacidad de traducir requerimientos de negocio en especificaciones técnicas
