Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.
We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Financial Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst, Senior Vice Presidentbased in Taguig, BGC, Metro Manila. The Fin Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst (Hybrid) is accountable for the management of complex, critical, large-scale financial control, entitlement, and risk initiatives, requiring a comprehensive understanding of financial platforms, access governance, risk, and control function and how they interactive to achieve business, risk, and regulatory objectives.
The role applies in-depth understanding of the business and risk impact of technology-enabled financial solutions and control frameworks, including entitlements, segregation of duties, and preventive and detective controls. The individual has end-to-end accountability for ledger entitlement access, control, and risk-related projects, including strategy, design, governance, and execution across one or more businesses and geographic regions.
The role requires strong communication and influence skills to negotiate and drive alignment with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Risk, and Audit. The role exercises significant judgment, governance and control over resources, risk and control decisions, policy formulation, and planning, and is involved in project planning for their area of accountability with influence over firm's control environment
Responsibilities:
Contributes to the design, roll-out, and governance of enterprise access, entitlement, and control solutions across Finance ledger platforms
Leads the formulation and ongoing evolution of the firm's ledger access principles, entitlements, and segregation of duties strategy across businesses, products, functions, and geographies
Establishes and governs access provisioning standards defining who can access financial ledger systems, what activities they can perform, and under what conditions
Designs and maintains preventive, detective, and compensating controls related to entitlements, elevated access and conflicting roles
Oversees entitlement approval frameworks for user access and governance processes for access requests, exceptions, and policy adherence
Chairs or participates in governance forums and working groups to establish, maintain, and enforce global access and control policies, standards, and procedures
Partners with Technology, Architecture, and Security teams to embed access and control requirements directly into system and role design
Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
Regularly interacts with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry highly preferred
Experience with Access Entitlements and Controls is a plus
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the function.
Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred.
Education:
Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
