Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Lead , mentor and manage a team of QA engineers (Manual and Automation)
- Develops and designs standards and procedures; ensures that they are adhered to throughout the software development life cycle.
- Ensures consistency and quality of processes across the organization. Exhibits in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
- Requires in-depth understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality and has basic commercial awareness.
- Collaborates with local and global stakeholders like development team, UAT team, etc. to ensure project stability and productivity.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Experience in Software testing lifecycle and methodologies System, Integration testing, Regression testing, Exploratory testing, Ad-hoc testing etc. and their corresponding tools.
- Proficient in SQL
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Web, Database and API and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Experience of integrating the automation scripts with the CICD pipeline and experience of working with CICD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven.
- Liaise with developers and BA's to identify system requirements and communicate testing status.
- Experience of working with Selenium, TestNg, JUnit, Cucumber, SOAP UI, REST-Assured etc.
- Exposure to Performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter would be a big plus.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java.
- Experience of working with ALM tools such as JIRA
- Experience in performing API testing using Postman, Jmeter etc.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience of Behavior Driven Development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- 14+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
- Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of QA automation for software applications
- Experience in programming/debugging used in business applications
- Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of specific business area for application testing
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
