Job Overview
The Infrastructure Analyst 2 is an intermediate level role responsible for optimized and efficient production management and solution delivery services with a focus to build an aligned culture to enhance internal customer experience across global portfolio of applications. The analyst will utilize industry’s best practices to provide application, infrastructure, and batch monitoring, troubleshooting and automation solutions while adhering to process and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve problems through evaluative judgment, troubleshooting and analysis
- Ensure successful completion of data loads and batch processing
- Participate in testing activities, including the creation and execution of basic test scripts
- Execute project plan task
- Participate in control activities (risk, self-assessment, COB, audit, etc.) and make recommendations for enhancements
- Evaluate issues using existing procedures or similar/related experiences; recommend and implement solutions
- Exchange ideas and information in a concise and clear manner
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Handle incoming Incidents and inquiries associated with Foundational Services applications.
- Drive stability efforts, manage End of Vendor Support (EOVS), and other environment cleanliness initiatives.
- Drive and maintain application observability, telemetry, and monitoring solutions.
- Identify and drive automation opportunities and projects within the application support realm.
- Partner with application development, business analyst, product owners, and infrastructure support teams on application change and release management.
- Maintain and develop application support process, procedures, and documentation.
- Manage Continuity of Business (COB) and other high availability efforts.
- Provide ownership of major incidents or outages of critical systems.
- Gather and present metrics pertaining to application performance, stability, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide leadership on the onboarding on new applications and technologies, ensuring that the application support team have the correct processes and procedures in place.
- Manage recurring and chronic issues in the Production environment, ensuring that risks are assessed, and remediation efforts are prioritized accordingly.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a Technology Infrastructure role
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
