Job Overview

The Applications Development Technology Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. Experienced in desigining , building and optimising scalable platform. AWS Cloud Engineering, Cloud Modernization, Platform Engineering, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, SQL, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS DevOps,AWS Networking, Security and Governance, Observability, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Disaster Recovery, DevOps Automation, Infrastructure as Code

Responsibilities:

Proven experience leading the architecture, engineering and production delivery of large-scale, highly available enterprise applications on AWS, AWS certified with strong hands-on architectural depth across application, cloud, data, integration and DevSecOps.

Key capabilities

• AWS & Cloud Architecture: Deep experience designing production applications on AWS using EKS, MSK/Kafka, networking, IAM, ALB/API Gateway, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager and VPC endpoints, including multi-AZ resilience and disaster recovery.
• Backend & Distributed Systems: Strong Java/Spring Boot, microservices, REST/event-driven APIs and distributed-system design, including concurrency, caching, resiliency, idempotency and failure/recovery patterns.
• Data Architecture: Experience with MongoDB Atlas and relational/data-lake platforms, including data modelling, indexing, consistency, performance and high-volume operational workloads.
• Full-Stack Architecture: Ability to own end-to-end application architecture across backend and modern Angular/React frontends, including API/BFF patterns, authentication, performance and scalability.
• Platform Engineering & DevSecOps: Strong Kubernetes/EKS, containers, Terraform/IaC, CI/CD, observability, autoscaling, SRE, security and production engineering experience.
• Integration & Event-Driven Architecture: Proven delivery using Kafka/MSK, enterprise APIs and asynchronous/event-driven integration patterns across complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Scale & Resilience: Demonstrable experience building systems processing high transaction/event volumes, supporting thousands of users and meeting demanding latency, availability, resiliency and recovery requirements.
• Engineering Leadership: Proven ownership of architecture and engineering strategy, technical governance and standards, mentoring senior engineers/engineering leads, resolving complex production problems and influencing senior technology and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 13+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in implementing projects
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development
• Demonstrated knowledge of client core business functions
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, and development skills
• Relationship and consensus building skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred
