Job Overview

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
• Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of AI Ops platforms and tools.
• Monitor AI Ops dashboards and alerts, identifying potential issues and escalating them as necessary.
• Conduct initial troubleshooting and root cause analysis for incidents related to AI Ops systems and the infrastructure they monitor.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop and refine AI/ML models for anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and automated remediation.
• Collect, clean, and prepare data for AI/ML model training and evaluation.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Responsible for the complete process of providing technology solutions (across the design, modification and exit of products), including solutions provided from other teams or from third parties
• The architecture team drives best practice, technology standards and methodologies.  The Safety and Soundness  team adopts and applies them, while feeding continuous improvements back to the architecture team
• Working hand in hand with stakeholders, take Technology programs from investment decisions, into design, specification and engineering solutions, and work hand in hand with development teams to deliver the solutions.
• Design integrated, end to end solutions (consistent with target architecture) that enable the organization to operate efficiently, providing employees and line managers with tools that help them perform their roles more effectively.
• Partner with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet commitments.  Manage to budgetary constraints and to agreed schedule and scope dependencies, and proactively manage matters arising
• Partner with the development team to ensure software is developed in line with the solution design and continually tested throughout the development lifecycle. Help the team troubleshoot and resolve issues with design and implementation
