Global Controller Technology - Automation Development Sr Programmer
The Automation Development Senior Programmer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to drive process and functionality automation through application programming activities.
Job Background
Finance Services Automation platform is a global application in Finance Market Control and Risk Technology built for providing low code automation services. The application is built to automate thousands of manual processes that are required to be completed as part of daily/month/quarter-end processes in Finance operations. The FINSAP team is the global center for the creation of automation workflows to help reducing enterprise risk and manual efforts and well supported by teams across the globe

Responsibilities:
- Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
- Configurable and re-usable workflows development allowing customers to control their processes efficiently. This includes Process Mapping, Task Management, Task Automation and Output Tracking
- Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
- Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
- Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
- Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
- Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in systems analysis and software programming using KNIME or other ETL tools
- Should understand source code repository & branching model
- Understanding of application build and release process
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

- Communication and Presentation - Good written and verbal communication skills
- Independent thinking- ability to work independently with a good experience of working with multiple teams across different geographies
- Flexibility- Candidate should be flexible and open to work to interact with global partners/teams or as per project demand
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
