Job Overview

Citi’s Banking division provides comprehensive relationship coverage and a full suite of products and services in an effort to be the best possible financial partner to our institutional clients.  The Latin America Banking group operates in ~20 countries throughout Mexico, South America, Central America and the Caribbean.  

The Latin America Sr. Business Analyst will work closely with the regional Business Execution team to support the business on all internal reporting, strategic projects and management and other business administrative activities. The Sr. Business Analyst may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.

Responsibilities:

• Manage analytics and client management systems related to the Corporate Banking business in the region in order to devise strategy and track results
• Work closely with Corporate Banking teams in each of the Latin America countries to obtain pipeline information, execute campaigns and implement strategy to enhance growth
• Conduct deep dive business analyses in order to track revenues, returns, wallet share, assets and other financial metrics 
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs, propose initiatives and lead creation of direct expense plans in partnership with internal functions and teams
• Coordinate with bankers to ensure Scorecard accuracy, including coverage maintenance, deal management, and completeness of metrics
• Assist in activities such as tracking employee headcount, management of expenses and other administrative needs
• Prepare Senior Executive / C-Level presentations
• Special Projects & ad-hoc analyses as required

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of business analysis experience required
• Exceptional data analytics skills needed
• Experience creating documentation within standard development methodology
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree;
• Excellent command of the English language, Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
