This is achieved by utilizing a range of cash and derivative fixed-income products, including a portfolio of high-quality fixed-income securities.
The Senior Business Unit Group Manager will act as a strategic partner to the G10 Business Heads and the Global Business Execution Team. You will be instrumental in shaping a best-in-class Treasury unit for the future needs of Citi, its clients, and regulators by driving the implementation of key business, regulatory, and control initiatives.
What you’ll do
Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the design and implementation of strategic methodologies, procedures, and governance to ensure expense and revenue targets are met. Formulate and drive a coordinated business response to major internal and regulatory programs, including Data, Liquidity Management, and IRRBB.
Risk & Control Governance: Lead and Manage Business Risk & Control initiatives, overseeing all aspects of safety and soundness for the business. Champion a culture of robust risk management by assessing risk in all business decisions, ensuring unwavering compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to all Citi policies.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison and strategic partner to Markets Central Risk & Control teams, Compliance, Internal Audit, Citi Treasury, Risk Chain, Controllers, and Finance. You will drive forward control enhancement initiatives and provide leadership during the investigation of control failures.
Operating Model & Organizational Design: Manage and drive a continuous cycle of organization/operating model reviews to shape and evolve the local and regional organization model, proposing and leading initiatives to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
Executive Communication: Direct the coordination and production of materials for executive management meetings, including staff meetings, town halls, monthly business reviews, and team off-sites, providing analysis and feedback on key business projects.
Supervision & Accountability: Provide leadership and promote business ties with internal and external senior leaders. Effectively supervise the activity of others and create a culture of accountability for those who fail to maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
What we’ll need from you

Proven track record of senior leadership, with demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a high-performing team and to lead complex, region-wide projects and processes.
