Job Overview

Role Overview

As a Market Data Ordering Analyst within Citi's Global Market Data Services team, you will play a key operational role in managing and optimizing market data service requests across the firm. Utilizing the Optimize Spend platform (formerly FITS), you will act as the primary liaison among internal stakeholders, Business Advisors, and external vendors to ensure user requests and inventory profiles are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

What you'll do

  • Order Management & SLA Execution: Manage market data service queues through Optimize Spend to ensure user requests, subscriptions, and profile modifications are fulfilled accurately and meet or exceed SLAs.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Partner with external vendors, internal Business Advisors, and Procurement teams to clarify requirements, manage workflows, and resolve operational queries.
  • Reconciliation & Cost Integrity: Conduct regular vendor service and inventory reconciliations to detect discrepancies, maintain data accuracy, and support financial expense integrity.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes, leveraging automation and AI tools to drive efficiency and delivery insights.
  • Project & Management Support: Contribute to global Market Data strategic initiatives, ad-hoc management requests, and cross-functional deliverables.

What we need from you

  • Experience & Domain Knowledge: Experience or strong interest in Market Data, Financial Services, or Expense Management (prior Market Data experience is preferred but not essential).
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong IT and analytical proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
  • SLA & Operational Discipline: Proven ability to thrive in an SLA-driven, fast-paced environment with a commitment to precision, data accuracy, and quality.
  • Communication & Organization: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse technical and business stakeholders; exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities under tight deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent practical experience.
