We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive end-user computing support and operational administration across our enterprise technology environment. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for desktop and laptop environments while ensuring seamless batch processing and scheduled operations. You will collaborate closely with regional and global cross-functional teams, participate in project deliveries, and uphold critical governance, testing, and risk control standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical support experience, strong analytical troubleshooting capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues through analytical, troubleshooting, and sound evaluative judgment.
  • Provide hands-on support for end-user laptops and desktop PCs, including diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, operating system, peripheral, network connectivity, and standard application issues.
  • Ensure successful completion of data loads, batch processing, and scheduled operational activities.
  • Participate in testing activities, including the creation, execution, and documentation of test scripts and results.
  • Execute project plan tasks and contribute to the successful delivery of technology initiatives.
  • Participate in control and governance activities, including risk assessments, audits, business continuity (COB) exercises, self-assessments, and compliance reviews, while recommending process improvements where appropriate.
  • Evaluate issues using established procedures and prior experience, recommending and implementing effective solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts, issues, and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with local, regional, and global teams to support business and technology objectives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, when required to support projects, incidents, system changes, or business-critical activities.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards, and by escalating and managing control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Technology Infrastructure, End User Computing, or IT Support role.
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting laptops, desktop PCs, operating systems, peripherals, standard software, and end-user technology issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams in a global environment.
  • Excellent command of English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
