The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.
We are seeking a highly strategic, technical, and people-oriented Product & Technical Delivery Manager to lead a high-performing team of Technical Analysts. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our Deposits and Payments products, bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution.
The ideal candidate possesses deep domain expertise in retail/wealth deposits and modern payment rails, combined with a proven track record of managing hybrid teams. You will champion agile methodologies, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and customer-centric financial solutions
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & People Management (35%)
- Direct Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a hybrid team of Technical Analysts (focused on system requirements, API specifications, and data mapping).
- Talent Development: Establish clear performance goals, conduct regular career development discussions, and provide continuous coaching to elevate the team's product management and technical analysis capabilities.
- Resource Allocation: Manage capacity planning and resource allocation across multiple agile squads to ensure optimal delivery of the product roadmap.
- Culture: Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-ownership environment that encourages innovation, technical excellence, and customer empathy.
Risk & Fraud: Understanding of payment fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) compliance
Domain-Specific Expertise (Deposits & Payments)
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of the following areas:
Core Deposits: Account lifecycle management (onboarding, maintenance, closure), interest accrual and posting engines, fee structures, ledger systems, and statement generation. Payment Rails: Deep knowledge of domestic and international payment systems, including ACH, Wire transfers, Real-Time Payments (RTP), FedNow, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 messaging standards. Modern Architecture: Familiarity with API-driven banking (RESTful APIs, gRPC), event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Stakeholder Management, Compliance & Risk (20%)
Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between your team and key stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Legal, Risk, Information Security, and Compliance. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all deposits and payments products strictly adhere to local and international financial regulations, security standards, and data privacy laws. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors, payment networks, and core banking providers, ensuring deliverables meet SLA and contractual obligations.
Technical Analysis & System Delivery (20%)
Technical Translation: Guide Technical Analysts in translating complex business requirements into robust technical specifications, API contracts, data schemas, and system workflows. Architecture Collaboration: Work closely with Enterprise Architects and Lead Engineers to ensure product designs align with modern, scalable, and secure architectural standards (e.g., microservices, cloud-native infrastructure). Quality Assurance: Oversee the definition of comprehensive testing strategies, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing, to ensure zero-defect delivery. Production Support: Act as an escalation point for critical production incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and post-mortem analysis to prevent recurrence.
2. Product Strategy & Roadmap Execution (25%)
Roadmap Alignment: Partner with business leaders to translate the overarching Deposits and Payments business strategy into a concrete, prioritized product roadmap. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product lifecycle from conceptualization, market research, and business case development through to launch, maintenance, and decommissioning. Agile Governance: Ensure the team maintains a healthy, well-prioritized product backlog with clearly defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements. Metrics & Analytics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product health, adoption, transaction volume, and system reliability, using data to drive continuous optimization.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in digital product management, technical analysis, or systems engineering within the financial services or FinTech sector.
- Minimum of 8+ years of direct people management experience, successfully leading hybrid teams of product and technical professionals.
- Methodologies: Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks, with experience acting as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or multi-squad environment.
- Tools: Proficiency with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, and Miro.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- Professional certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Pragmatic Institute, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Experience migrating legacy core banking or payment systems to modern, cloud-native platforms.
Key Competencies & Soft Skills

- Influential Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders and vice versa.
- Problem Solver: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a calm and decisive demeanor under pressure.
- Collaborative Leader: Proven ability to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment across highly matrixed organizations.
Education:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
