The Citi Retail Services (CRS) Partner Marketing team leads all marketing efforts for the CRS business. The Head of Acquisitions for Citi Retail Services is currently seeking an SVP of Partner Marketing Acquisition Growth. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing the strategy for Acquisition growth across a breadth of Citi’s partners and channels, including leading marketing programs, monitoring performance trends, leading forums and routines to monitor workstream progress, and developing materials to support regular strategy reviews.

Beyond overseeing core marketing efforts currently underway, other responsibilities will include identifying and championing new acquisition offers to optimize the objective function, ensuring compelling new creative experiences/messaging are tested on a regular basis, leveraging key digital targeting techniques & associated best digital practices, supporting test/roll-out changes in new acquisition channels and capabilities and overseeing flawless execution across channels.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of acquisitions strategies across priority channels by collaborating with business partners to identify efficiencies in our acquisition channels through innovations in strategy, targeting, delivery, process, and capabilities and size opportunities accordingly.
  • Build-outnew acquisition channels and programs andoptimize existing ones.
  • Work with digital teams, digital channel managers, and legal team to launch and enhance channel capabilities, creativeassetsand customer experience development.
  • Responsible for ensuring the proper controls are in place and processes are well documented and monitored on a regular basis.
  • Partner on reporting, tracking, forecasting and competitive insights to help evaluate program performance across all online acquisition channels, aiding in the development of future strategies.
  • Develop content for strategic updates to Cross-functional partners and leadership, weekly and monthly
  • Responsible for managing a team of program managers.
  • Responsible for risk and issue management, reporting on project metrics and prioritization process.
  • Run the project steering committee ensuring all stakeholders are well informed of active projects and project prioritizations are aligned with company and department strategies.
  • Provide metrics on teams and project performance to ensure the growth and development of the team as well as providing a foundation for making data-driven decisions.
  • Develop key dashboards and communication plans to keep all parties up to date regarding project statuses and issues.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience in business, particularly in project management, digital marketing or capability development and credit card acquisition
  • Co-brand and private label cards experience preferred
  • Exemplary communication and presentation skills, with ability to partner effectively and influence key decisions across various levels of the organization
  • Excellent planning, forecasting, reporting and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship, and influence management skills that allow for close partnerships with many different constituents, internal and external
  • Partner-oriented mindset with ability to make strategic recommendations that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for Citi and our partners
  • Comfortable in ambiguous situations, self-starter and self-learner
  • Comfortable operating in a highly matrixed, complex environment ​
  • Strong sense of accountability and decisiveness in a strong work ethic culture
  • Team-player with ability to adjust immediate priorities based on changing business needs
  • Expertise in Martech, adtech and project management workflow tools i.e. Adobe Analytics, AEM, Confluence, Jira, Aprimo, etc.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
