Job Overview
The Credit Portfolio Intermediate Associate Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for participating in a variety of portfolio monitoring activities to identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in managing Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties globally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, validate, and implement automated processes using SQL
- Attend project meetings and communicate information relevant to project design and implementation
- Provide analytic support by evaluating production data, providing ongoing support in the monitoring of production environment and delivering detailed results of data and project deliverables
- Analyze and approve counter-party credit limits for trading, transactional and financing businesses
- Develop and continually improve risk management framework and processes for funds
- Advise businesses and clients on transaction structures and negotiate credit terms
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in financial analysis, accounting and valuation
- In-depth specialty area/industry knowledge and understanding of industry standards and practices
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$76,230.00 - $106,370.00
