Job Overview
Head of Innovation and Planning, Lend Marketing
The US Consumer Card Marketing drives all aspects of the customer lifecycle, from Acquisition to Engagement to Retention. The Customer Marketing team within this organization is a critical driver of Marketing, with a vision to deepen and expand the relationships our customers have with Citi – increasing their usage of our products and services, promoting behaviors that create long-term loyalty, and thoughtfully communicating new benefits, features and products that can strengthen our relationship.
The Customer Marketing organization is seeking the Head of Innovation and Planning within the Lend Marketing organization. Lend Marketing drives marketing for our consumer unsecured lending products to address customer’s borrowing needs over their lifecycle. This role will lead business management and innovation for Lending Marketing
Responsibilities
Innovation & Strategic Initiatives
Identify new innovative capabilities / opportunities to increase personalization, efficiency, and speed to market for Lending Marketing through deep understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and current campaign processes.
Establishing a clear, multi-year innovation roadmap for Lend Marketing with measurable impact.
Lead prioritized innovation initiatives from concept through adoption across Lend Marketing, with consideration for broader roll-out across Customer Marketing
Planning & Business Management
Craft compelling narratives and updates on Lending Marketing impacts and innovation agenda through data.
Facilitate change management across Lend Marketing for new organizational initiatives, processes enhancements, and system changes.
Ensure effective business management across Lend Marketing, including financial forecasting, vendor governance, and coordination with controls partners on audit, exam, and risk-related activities.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in financial services and marketing, preferably with experience in strategic initiatives, marketing strategy, planning, and innovation
Proven problem-solving skills to structure challenges and identify solutions / opportunities.
Ability to lead and influence partners across a matrix organization, fostering collaboration, and building confidence with peers on key Lending Marketing innovation opportunities.
Effective at managing and driving multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
Proficient at Excel and skilled at creating high quality presentations for executives.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree
Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$144,480.00 - $216,720.00
