Job Overview
Target Market Remediation Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. The analyst applies in-depth knowledge contributing to the improvement of processes and work-flows. They integrate subject matter and industry expertise within the defined area and coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. They will evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Work and performance of all stakeholders in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a review of existing entities that are noted as non-target market.
- Review entity documentation to ascertain entity ownership.
- Determine if the entity will be subject to Target Market Exception approval.
- Escalate selected cases to partner teams in the NAM and LATAM and EMEA.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Continuously innovate by analyzing processes and systems to ensure they are as efficient and effective as possible.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong ability to plan work, accomplish milestones and multi-task
- Sound verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated in previous roles
- Prior experience in analyzing and researching data
- Ability to make decisions based on facts and own judgment
- Expert knowledge on KYC related field.
- Ability to analyze and interpret policies in order to correctly implement requirements
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to improve existing processes, detail-oriented, excellent team player, able to work under pressure
- Demonstrated interest in the fields of KYC and/or Account Onboarding and/or Compliance
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
