Job Overview

Senior Testing Manager will be responsible for managing cross-functional test phases and testing groups to develop and execute Securities Services Operations test strategies, related to global migration programs, large and medium-sized client projects, system releases and upgrades, and internal projects. Role has responsibility for planning, design and control of the test execution, as well as analyse the existing test strategies within the department and implement changes aimed at improvement of effectiveness and quality of delivered projects and releases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead test execution for medium/large migration programme across financial Operations
• Manage a team of testers and oversee their work
• Develop testing strategies and test plans
• Define end-to-end test plans, support test coverage design and work with Technology to secure environments for the testing lifecycle
• Create test documentation such as Test Approach, Test Runbook, Test Completion Report
• Manage traceability and test execution reporting incl. defect management
• Drive and solve test related challenges in client & release testing processes
• Provide leadership, training and mentoring to Test Management team

Example of projects you may work on:

Global programme supporting complex migration to new platforms and implementing unified operational model across all regions. Work in global teams, collaboration with Programme Manager and Project Managers responsible for certain stream, Applications Manager, vendor resources, testers, Ops SMEs. Contribute to project estimates, coordinate all test activities (including E2E and parallel testing), deliver all test related artefacts.

Requirements:

• Practical experience as a Testing Manager
• Financial services/banking experience required
• Experience in leading teams and coordinating tasks
• Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
• Highly preferred, strong knowledge about test management standards and practices i.e. ISTQB certification
• Communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence
• Experience with ITIL and/or Project Management will be an advantage
