Team/Role Overview

The Loan Operations Team provide operational support for multiple Clients and business sectors across the UK/E/MEA region providing Loan Administration services for both syndicated and bilateral deals originated and captured within the region.

The mission is to provide a high quality and consistent level of service to all entities throughout the life cycle of the loan.

What you’ll do

• Investigate and resolve cash exceptions and payable/receivable items

• Escalate control gaps and issues to senior management

• Build relationships throughout the business to establish a peer network.

• Resolve complex problems where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of loan procedures and industry standards.

• Seek to improve operational procedures and controls within the group. Identify weakness, articulate these, and suggest solutions. 

• Support an expansive and/or diverse array of products (risk and control) /services

• Follow established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation/processing activities that require investigation or research and makes recommendations to management to support process improvement 

What we’ll need from you

• Advanced English Language skills both, written and spoken

• 2 years of relevant professional experience

• Basic understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services

• Knowledge and/or previous experience with Loan IQ will be an advantage

• Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues

• The jobholder will need to be flexible and able to deal with the ongoing changing needs of the Business in a positive way

• Analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple projects, thereby defining problems and developing solutions
