ESG Risk Manager

ESG Risk Manager would be responsible for leading the Bank’s efforts to develop and implement ESG risk framework within the Bank’s risk management structure, working cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, and Business Teams to embed ESG risk management into our decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Development of the Bank’s ESG Risk management framework and ESG risk strategy

• Chairing the Sustainable Development Products Commission, responsible for preparation and development of the Bank’s sustainable finance framework and classification of products and transactions

• Leading and participation in the key ESG risk related projects

• Development and application of ESG risk to the existing Risk Programs, such as:
  a) ESG risk identification and assessment process
  b) climate scenario analysis and stress testing methodology
  c) calibration and monitoring of ESG risk appetite
  d) reporting on the overall ESG risk profile

• Engaging with regulators and support meeting local regulatory requirements 

• Working with senior management and leaders to ensure effective integration of ESG risks management requirements

What we expect:

• Higher education in finance, economics, risk management, environmental economics and/or completion of specialized courses

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience

• Deep understanding of European regulations and standards regarding ESG risk management (incl. EBA Guidelines on ESG risks management, ECB Guide on Climate-related and Environmental risks, CRR III / CRD VI, PCAF), as well as the expectations of the Polish regulator

• Professional certifications (e.g. GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk, CFA ESG, SASB FSA) are a plus

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation)

• Professional ability and presence to interact with Senior Bank Management

• Good work organization and the ability to work on many projects at the same time

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with various teams and levels of the organization

• Proficient level of English and Polish
