Team/Role Overview

The BCBS 239 Office Assessment & Analytics Workstream is responsible for assessing Citi’s compliance to Basel regulation for Risk Data Aggregation capabilities (BCBS 239) using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The team collaborates closely with:

• Enterprise Data Leads
• Risk & Finance Reporting Teams
• Technology & Architecture teams
• Internal Audit (IA), Operational Risk (ORM), Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM)

What you’ll do:

Data Governance & Risk Data Aggregation

• Oversee execution of Data Governance Policy, Data Governance Standards, and Risk Data Aggregation Standard through BCBS 239 assessment framework
• Identify and report gaps impacting risk data aggregation and regulatory reporting.

Assessment Tooling Management

• Work with BCBS 239 Tooling product manager to develop and maintain overall Assessment tooling to measure and report compliance to BCBS 239 reporting.
• Support UAT and overall documentation requirements for monthly tool release cycles.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

• Provide metrics reporting support across the BCBS 239 Office for stakeholder reporting .
• Manage overall documentation including Desktop procedures, metadata files.

What we’ll need from you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Management, or Information Systems required.
• Experience working on Regulatory implementation (BCBS 239 ideally) or other similar regulations around data aggregation, Data Governance
• Technical Skills: Tableau Dashboard experience required and additional Tableau Prep desired
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical skills to decompose complex business problems, identify underlying causes, and propose effective, data-driven solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both business and technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., risk managers, finance controllers, IT developers).
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in BRDs and other documentation.
