Responsibilities:

• Manages the end-to-end process of tax refund submissions for client distributions, including event capture, discrepancy reconciliation, and document submission to tax authorities.
• Resolves queries from tax authorities and provides support for other tax processes.
• Executes complex transactions and monitors errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies.
• Maintains a strong understanding of tax area procedures and controls, ensuring compliance.
• Actively participates in compliance-related activities.
• Contributes to the development of technical infrastructure, including drafting Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), test scripts, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Validation Testing (PVT).
• Provides feedback on project-related activities and assists with special reports and projects.
• Assesses and mitigates risks in business decisions, safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets by ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, applying ethical judgment, and escalating control issues transparently.

Qualifications:

• Fluent English and developed communication skills
• 2-5 years relevant experience in Custody/Financial Operations/Funds
• In-depth knowledge of custody processes would be great asset, combined with a solid understanding of fund industry standards and practices
• Latitude to resolve complex issues related to the analysis of hedge fund activities
