Credit Information Management Lead
Wealth Credit Management (WCM) provides integrated end to end credit underwriting, transaction, and portfolio management in partnership with all the origination businesses of the Private Bank and Wealth Management of Citi. We are looking to hire an experienced professional to contribute to a newly created Credit Information Management Team (CIM) within Loan Product and Transaction Management in WCM. This is a global role covering Americas, EMEA and AP region.
CIM will be responsible to ensure our credit information is flowing correctly to appropriate downstream systems for accurate internal and regulatory reporting. The team will service as the primary contact for all internal and external audit queries as well as play a critical role in representing LPTM team in various control forum related to Data.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support with respect to CCR data flow covering PSE/NSE measures and underlying mitigants information (collaterals, netting, and margin agreements) information flowing to other systems for appropriate calculation.
Support automation and streamlining of portfolio-reporting processes. Support identification of trends in large datasets. Reconcile and identify underlying issues in such datasets and transformation logic and work towards prioritizing / resolving the gaps
Support documentation of streamlined / updated process flows and develop technical documentation to create new processes for capturing deal closing financial information for origination team and improve reporting and tracking of revenues
Support quantitative analysis, risk management analytics, exposure analysis, portfolio performance analysis, and support other portfolio risk including Basel II and Basel III capital adequacy measurement, Y14 Schedule H, stress testing, and revenue / regulatory reporting related strategic projects
Support gap analysis and convey relevant concepts and findings to team management
Support deep dive analysis of failed CDEs in the data tracing process to identify the root cause and work for remediation in source system as applicable
Support deep dive analysis of Citi’s internal downstream data aggregators viz: Optima / ACE / CitiRisk Credit/ Collateral to review the data transformation logic; propose solutions to the data gaps and drive project to improve data quality and reduce data gaps
Support the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, training, and implementation of function.
Collect data capture requirements based on regional needs and regulatory guidance.
Support implementation of various KRI and KPIs to enhance data quality
Work with EDO teams for any data related issues.
Closely partner with each of the originating products, credit risk, operations, Technology legal, etc. to support implementation of the target support model to eliminate / minimize Data Quality concerns.
Support implementation of effective controls and processes that meet internal policies and regulatory requirements/expectations
Support execution of team implementation roadmap
Support new and existing policy and regulatory requirements across Global Wealth Management workstreams
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
In depth knowledge of Loan Product (including CCR), especially, PSE, PSLE etc.
Experience reading and interpreting complex credit agreements, including ISDA
Experience supporting large remediation efforts and meeting critical deadlines
Experience supporting wholesale lending at large financial institution
Experience working as part of a high-performing team
Proven ability to collaborate with team members and senior management both within the lines of business and across multiple stakeholders
Highly developed analytical and decision-making capabilities including the ability to support the identification, escalation, and remediation of complex problems
Ability to multi-task through the practice of strong organizational and time management skills with experience in continuously following-up with various stakeholders and execution teams
Experience working with internal and external audit entities
Proven track record in establishing and maintain business line partnerships
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in large financial institution / financial consulting firm
University degree is required, and MBA is a Plus
Prior experience in regulatory reporting role is a plus
Understanding of lending rules and regulation is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Attention to detail
