Team/Role Overview

The Business Data Analyst (Process & Administration & Operation data)  is a developing professional role within Citi. The role is pivotal in data collection and processing, monitoring, assessing, and analyzing data to prepare detailed internal and client reporting outputs. This role provides a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality & timeliness of the tasks/services provided. You will be dealing with various business stakeholders across the organization.

We collect, process, monitor, assess and analylze data gained from our operational teams payroll, kyc, accounting, invoice, treasury, customer service, supply chain,e tc. ). As we work closely with the business, our goal is to support  business decisions with insights and descriptive reporting. 

Your tasks will be:

• Report Generation: Producing Board Meeting decks for Citi clients and Service Review decks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Data Analysis: Independently designing/analyzing standard to moderately complex reports, including data content, format, source data, and the production process.
• Specification Writing: Independently writing specifications for new report programs, spreadsheets, and other devices to produce reports.
• Gap Identification: Identifying reporting gaps and making judgments and recommendations based on analysis and specialty area knowledge.
• Comparative Analysis: Analyzing comparative data from reports and interpreting results.
• Process Improvement: Based on analysis performed, making recommendations to support process improvements and increase in operating efficiencies.
• Risk Assessment: Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made.
• Regulatory Compliance: Contributing to Citi's regulatory compliance by ensuring KPIs are tracked and reported according to regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in descriptivereporting and data collection and processing areas
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office pack; Power Query is a big plus
• Excellent English Language (C1) in speaking and writing
• E2E reporting process owning – ability to develop and maintain reports
• Data modelling & Data visualization experience is nice to have
• Ability to work with business, good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
