This is a fixed-term contract to cover an employee on maternity leave.

Team/Role Overview:

The Benefits Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing and executing the firm's reward strategy.
  • Manage the key areas of health and insurance benefits, brokers and liaises with third parties to develop a consistent best practice approach and comply with Third Party management Policy
  • Assist with managing Citi’s Health Care programs including Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, Trip/Transit, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Retiree Medical Programs (U.S. Domestic and Puerto Rico populations).
  • Ensure that reward practices are compliant with the relevant regulatory recommendations and requirements are also covered in this function.
  • Handle and resolves escalated individual participant issues.
  • Contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business.
  • Handle day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
  • Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.
  • Perform training on Citi’s benefits for HR colleagues and employees.
  • Primary focus of role is on day-to-day operational execution, with occasional contribution to broader planning within area of expertise.

What we'll need from you:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
