Job Overview
As a Training Execution Manager (C12/AVP), you will contribute to the creation and development of Citi's Controls training program. This role requires foundational understanding of Citi’s Job Architecture, Skills, and Profiles to support the development of a comprehensive training curriculum with HR Learning & Development. You will work closely with Enterprise Risk Management Program Training (ERMTP) and HR L&D to assist in assessing training needs and support learning initiatives for Controls professionals and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will collaborate with HR L&D, Controls SMEs, leadership, and ERMTP to develop training content, curricula, and communications. Your input will ensure training materials are current, compliant, and support Central Controls goals.
You will be a member of the Governance, Reporting and Analysis (GRA) team within Central Controls, responsible for supporting the adherence to a standard, consistent approach for the reporting and analysis provided to Citi's risk and control governance committees. The GRA team ensures sound, reliable, consistent information exists across the organization to enable better management and decision-making in line with the expectations of senior management, Board and regulators. Colleagues in GRA provide data analysis, governance, end-to-end management and oversight for Governance Committees to enable proactive management of the risk and control environment. Within GRA, the Training and Communications team partners with Central Controls leadership to provide training, communications, and skills that promote controls excellence across Citi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the execution of training and communication strategies that combines and improves online digital media with other training channels to create a sustainable collaborative learning experience.
- Support ongoing maintenance and operating routines of Controls Job Family Group, including Skills and annual Skills Assessment cycles in partnership with Enterprise Workforce Management.
- Provide support and guidance to ensure that all training and communications materials remain current with evolving Controls standards, adhere to industry best practices, and align seamlessly with Central Controls organizational objectives
- Support the creation and application of workplace learning and development principles
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience in training/L&D/adult learning environment
- Support development of communications and learning concepts beyond self-paced training (e.g., leadership development sessions, speaking panels, video, written materials) to drive adoption of Controls skills and training needs leveraging communications tools (Sharepoint, Adobe Premiere, PowerPoint, Photoshop)
- Training Advisory: Work with stakeholders to evaluate training needs, identify critical skill gaps, and contribute to the project management and execution of targeted training and engagement initiatives for Controls professionals
- Helps manage projects with internal subject matter experts and external providers to build learning solutions that meet targeted outcomes
- Supports annual Skills Assessment processes, planning and execution
- Strong knowledge in deploying learning events through the Global Learning Management System (GLMS) for course and audience activity requests, and training reporting and analysis
- Leverage knowledge of technology and current learning industry best practices to support Central Controls. Works well both independently and as a team player
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, communications, organizational effectiveness, risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions within the financial services industry, with a significant focus on training design and delivery
- Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of Risk and Control processes and ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls
- Track record supporting training related projects and programs
- Ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategy and process improvement initiatives to improve current processes
- Strong facilitation and project management skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience
- Ability to understand and translate technical information into user friendly terms
- Well organized, detail oriented and able to work in fast paced environment
- Strong working knowledge/experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver clear and concise presentations and influence audiences
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership, with focus on delivering results
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional command in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Education:
- Bachelor's/University degree or relevant work experience

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
