Job Overview

Citi’s Functions Technology is responsible for delivering Technology solutions to Citi's Functions organizations.  Functions Technology mission is to optimize Citi's Technology environment by delivering world class applications, driving standardization of the production environment, reducing complexity, optimizing management of systems supporting global functions such as Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit and Risk, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities, reduce the technology total cost of ownership, and create a competitive advantage for Citi.

The Technology Senior Product Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team & will join a team responsible for a diverse portfolio of technology products/projects in support of Financial Crimes & Compliance (AML).  

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated seasoned Senior Product owner focused on driving the adoption post launch, ensure governance, risk management, establish a feedback look on feature and capabilities post adoption and make the product better. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, business experience, and leadership skills to drive product strategy from concept to market. This role requires a proven track record in managing the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering successful, impactful products and managing the program tightly

You will be part of a technology product team that supports a high visibility and diverse group of business teams that include Independent Compliance & Risk Management function & it's sub functions like DCI & CRIU, ICRM CAO as well UX teams & working on cutting edge initiatives like OM&AI.  The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration of functions with understanding of client core business functions and partner with multiple senior management teams to meet goals and deploy new products and process enhancements

  • Solve the highest-impact, highest-profile problems with significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards

  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders (across functions) and communicate with external parties as needed

  • Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions as a technical expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions

  • Conduct management activities, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching and other duties and functions as assigned

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying
    sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with deep functional expertise in the Financial Crimes and AML domain.
  • Extensive background across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with strong hands-on experience in Agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • CAMS certificate preferred

  • Experience or exposure to AI/ML technologies is a plus.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology
  • Proven interpersonal, management and prioritization skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure managing multiple activities and changing priorities
  • Proven ability to develop working relationships and approach work methodically with attention to detail
  • Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$153,600.00 - $230,400.00
