We are in search of a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Technical Analyst and Developer to develop and maintain software solutions that automate tedious and time-consuming manual business processes. This role will also lead initiatives related to the design and management of workflow automation projects. Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining technical documentation, testing and fixing bugs, training users, identifying technology solutions based on business needs, and providing technical support. To succeed, the ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of RPA development, business analyst, and be comfortable working with a variety of technologies and ambiguity.

This role applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand the requirements for each of the use cases within Automation Anywhere to help migrate off the platform into OpenSource RPA.
• Work with ambiguity to help identify technical solutions for the business needs
• Design and develop RPA solutions using Python/Java and Selenium to automate web scraping, and data processing.
• Implement best practices for code organization, readability, and maintainability, including proper code commenting, within the RPA ecosystem.
• Create functional and technical documentation for each automated process, detailing the workflow, dependencies, and any necessary instructions for maintenance or future enhancements.
• Collaborate with our team to gather feedback, refine the automated processes, and ensure they meet the desired objectives.
• Optimize the performance and reliability of the RPA solutions, considering factors such as error handling, logging, and scalability, leveraging AA/OpenSource features and best practices.
• Work within the AA/Open Source RPA structure to ensure smooth deployment, testing, and maintenance of the developed RPA processes.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the developed RPA processes, addressing any issues or updates as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver projects that meet business needs
• Work with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical designs and strategies

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and Technical BA ability for requirement gathering.
• Ability to analyze complex processes and design efficient automation solutions.
• Positive attitude and mind set to break silo’s and work through ambiguity to find and implement solutions.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in web automation and data scraping libraries such as Selenium, BeautifulSoup, or Scrapy.
• Familiarity with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Angular, to effectively navigate and interact with web pages.
• Knowledge of database concepts and experience working with database systems like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or MongoDB is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, bitbucket) is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience with Java and VBScript preferred.
• Fluency in AA RPA platform and familiarity with its features, tools, and best practices preferred.
• Proven experience in creating clear and comprehensive functional and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs preferred.
• Experience designing technical specification documents for RPA projects.

• Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field/equivalent experience.
• Master's/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field/equivalent preferred.
• UiPath RPA Developer certifications preferred.
