SVP, Financial Solutions Senior Lead Analyst

This is a hybrid role and the employee will be required to be in the office several days weekly depending on location.

As part of Citi’s Finance Transformation program, the Global Reporting Governance organization is charged with leading efforts to codify a Reporting Governance Framework to manage operational risks inherent in reporting processes and strengthen controls supporting regulatory and management reporting.  The Global Reporting Governance organization is looking for a dynamic individual to help define the target state framework and establish governance standards for regulatory and management reports globally.  This individual will drive the implementation and monitor compliance to a global reporting policy, as well as define reporting governance controls and compensating measures that result in effective risk reduction. 

The Financial Solutions Senior Analyst will be a key enabler in determining the target state reporting governance framework.   

Responsibilities:

• Design common framework, attestation, aggregation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for policy compliance monitoring and reporting to local and global oversight committees
• Monitor compliance of designated regulatory reports to the BCBS 239 heightened standards across geographies, functions, and lines of business and drive quarterly stakeholder attestations based on policy requirements and BCBS 239 principles
• Centralize and own the KPI and compliance metrics reporting and create dashboard reporting to senior management.  Work with stakeholders to remediate any identified gaps
• Collaborate with reporting oversight committee members and global function teams to understand, escalate and address key themes driving regulatory and management reporting deficiencies including putting in place a process to monitor issues and corrective action plans across all functions and lines of business
• Manage and interact with cross functional teams including the Chief Data Office, Global Functions Technology and other key stakeholders
• Design process to comply with report certification requirements
• Collect reporting performance metrics for trend analysis and root cause analysis
• Support compliance with Consent Order deliverables as applicable to regulatory reports and processes
• Communicate dependencies between technology, operations, and implementation teams to successfully implement process and related system transformations

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience working in the finance industry, experience in Finance, Reporting, or Governance is a plus.
• Designing and implementing appropriate policies, standards and procedures covering reporting activities, including experience writing global policies and associated governance models.
• Coordinating global Committees and Forums, with senior finance and shared services stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to work effectively across a wide variety of people across functions, regions, and seniority to deliver results
• High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress
• Ability to manage competing priorities, synthesize complex concepts and large quantities of information in a complex and dynamic environment
• Intermediate project management skills or experience in complex systems implementations preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field. Masters degree a plus.

Tampa: $136,700k - $205,050k

Getzville: $121,040k - $181,560k
