The Capital Planning Group is responsible for calculating, analyzing and reporting firm-wide Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) projections for all business lines.  The RWA measures support Citi’s internal capital planning practices, and the Federal Reserve Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) and Dodd-Frank Act stress tests (DFAST) external regulatory filings and disclosures.   This position involves understanding business and finance balance sheet forecasting, and the implications on the RWA forecast. The forecasted number is a critical indicator of the amount of capital needed for CCAR results during a stressed or severely stressed economic environment, then used as an input to Citi’s capital planning exercise and CCAR Fed reporting.

Key success factors will be this position's ability to perform analytics on large datasets and ability to learn the rules of RWA calculation and process. The candidate must be able to summarize the finding and create commentary that can be consumed by seniors and others outside the RWA team. Excellent interpersonal skills are required given the high level of interaction with senior managers, as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Technical skill is important to the candidate's success, but also is strong project management and multi-tasking skills to plan and manage deliverables towards a number of objectives.
