Job Overview

The Data Governance Foundation Sr Lead Analyst is responsible for leading activities that contribute to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy, and plays a critical role in leading activities to support implementation of the Data Governance Policy/Data Risk and Control framework.

The role will play a critical leadership role in establishing and overseeing the operating model for the Adjustment Reduction and Data Automation program. This high-impact position requires a highly disciplined and action-oriented individual with a proven ability to drive large-scale transformational initiatives. The SVP will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, ensuring seamless program execution, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This role demands exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of data governance principles and program management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating Model Development: Design, implement, and maintain a robust and scalable operating model for the Adjustment Reduction and Data Automation program, encompassing governance frameworks, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Program Governance: Establish and enforce program governance standards, ensuring adherence to Citi's data governance policies (e.g., CDGP, DOC-1728, DOC-6646) and regulatory requirements.
  • Program Execution: Oversee the execution of all program initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budget constraints. Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of program managers, business analysts, and other support staff. Provide coaching, development opportunities, and performance feedback.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across various business lines and functions, including Finance, Operations, Technology, and Compliance. Build strong relationships and ensure alignment on program objectives.
  • Issue Resolution: Triage and resolve program-related issues efficiently and effectively, escalating critical issues to senior management as needed.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop and deliver regular program performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize program efficiency, effectiveness, and value delivery.
  • Communication: Communicate program updates, progress, and key decisions to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Technology, Finance). Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of data governance principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Citi's internal systems and policies.
  • Experience with data automation and process improvement methodologies.

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
