Job Overview
The Payments Senior Product Manager will focus on technology deployment of a scalable, efficient, and resilient platform to unify diverse systems, requiring deep expertise in technology architectures, systems functionality, and event-driven models
This job requires excellent communication skills needed to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence others, in particular, colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. .
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight during the critical foundational phase
Drive the Payments Orchestration Layer implementation and ensure alignment with core capabilities (Data Quality Measurement, Client Experience enhancements, Operational Efficiency)
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure successful delivery of business outcomes, including streamlining change management and enhancing sanctions screening capabilities
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-wide data models and architectures. Drive innovation in data analytics and AI to improve business processes and services
Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business goals, including defining data vision, governance, and architecture, while advocating for a data-driven culture, and leading large-scale transformation programs within large financial institutions
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Payments (Business Analysis, Technology Architecture, Project Management), Sanctions Screening (system knowledge, general knowledge, workflows)
Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels
Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail
Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them
Working knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance and Data Compliance within large, financial services firms
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
