Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group is a critical component of Citi’s first line of defense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management and works with Independent Risk teams to ensure best-in-class risk and controls, as well as client responsiveness. Key responsibilities of the group include credit analysis, documentation, risk identification, exposure monitoring and stress testing. ICM coordinates with credit management groups across businesses to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals, as well as consistency and best practices. The Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) Product Development team within ICM is responsible for building tools to measure, monitor and control counterparty risk for institutional clients and provide in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve related business needs.

  • Candidate should have direct experience in end-to-end project delivery, preferably in product development, and knowledge of various analytical tools including: SQL, Python and Tableau
  • Has an understanding of counterparty credit risk concepts, data, systems, and processes, as well as financial market products (bilateral and cleared derivatives, securities financial transactions…)
  • Can prioritize requirements and envision a technical roadmap to lead front-to-back-end delivery of solutions that strengthen and streamline the capabilities of stakeholders
  • Must be intellectually curious and financially literate to understand a broad array of risk and front office existing processes and requirements
  • Has strong communication and diplomacy skills to collaborate with technology, compliance, risk, front office and other stakeholders


Responsibilities:

  • The Product Developer is responsible for activities related to the development or new products and/or features and functionality of products including developing business cases, requirements definition (BRDs), product enhancements innovation, feature and functionality definition based on market and industry research and trends and client needs.
  • Role at this level usually has full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Experience in a quantitative field
  • Excellent analytical and practical problem solving abilities
  • Working experience in Financial/Credit Card Industry
  • CFA/FRM experience is a plus


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
