Job Overview
Individuals in Risk Management are entrusted with managing the diverse and collective impact of the bank's risks. This involves identifying and managing enterprise-level and cross-cutting risks, designing scenarios for stress tests, managing climate risk, and safeguarding against reputational risk.
This position is to Head Reputation Risk for Banking & International, Services and Markets. The role is integral to the overarching objectives of the bank, as it ensures the bank's Reputation Risk is within defined risk appetite and helps maintain financial stability.
The role will combine expertise in reputation risk management with a strong understanding in Banking, Services and Markets. This individual will work closely with deal and relationship teams to review initiatives and co-chair the Banking and International Forum.
The role requires a commercially aware individual with experience in risk management. This role manages multiple priorities and engages with senior stakeholders across Citi.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Reputation Risk program for Banking and International, Markets and Services.
- Maintain robust communication with senior bank and risk management personnel, compliance, legal, and auditors.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, applying sound ethical judgment and escalating, managing and reporting issues with transparency.
- Has an interest in current affairs, geopolitics and emerging risks.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience.
- Demonstrated background in risk management and oversight, ideally with experience in the first line of defense, which includes handling potential risks and implementing control measures.
- Experience providing review and challenge to materials for senior management, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately presented and easily understandable.
- Ability to work cohesively with cross-functional teams and foster a productive and positive working environment.
- Ability to constructively challenge conclusions, influence stakeholders at all levels, and shape outcomes to align with the Reputation Risk program.
- Ability to create efficient connections within the Reputation risk framework, foresee potential risks, and make informed decisions to mitigate them.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a strong team player.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
