Job Overview
The Process Control Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures financial reporting accuracy and compliance with external regulators and firm policies and standards.
- Participates in independent appraisal activities performed by internal audit as well as by external auditing firms for the purposes of certification of financial statements and assessing the adequacy, effectiveness, and compliance with financial, operating, information systems, and administrative controls. Focuses on processes and activities which ensure financial reporting accuracy, compliance with SEC requirements and adequate controls.
- Evaluates the current processes to ensure risks are mitigated either completely or to an acceptable level and adequate controls designs are in place.
- Strategic professional who advises on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business.
- Focuses on the implementation of policies and procedures.
- Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.
- Uses communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasionally external customers.
- Technical expert who acts as an advisor on significant business/product decisions
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in financial services field/Risk and Control field
- Excellent management presentation skills (PowerPoint, Project plan and Status reporting, Executive presence)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Outstanding relationship building and management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on advanced MS Excel
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required, certification or Master’s degree in relevant field a plus.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
