Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst - C13
The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our application, Workforce Master Central (WMC). You should be proficient in a variety of programming languages and technologies, as well as have a strong understanding of software development best practices. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
Responsibilities:
Develop user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
Work in teams to establish design standard, improving efficiency of development workflow and product rollout.
Take ownership of smooth Production releases planning and execution
Oversee software quality and system modifications
Analyze existing operations to identify risks and redundancies
Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop solutions
Liaise with team members, management to ensure projects are completed to application development and governance standard
Expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work, as necessary.
Keep up to date with industry trends and developments
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Skills:
6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development role as full stack developer.
Demonstrated thought leadership in designing complex systems
In depth knowledge of Java, react for front end, spring boot, Kafka, Distributed Cache/Systems
Hands on experience on relational databases like Oracle with ability to write and evaluate SQLs
Fair understanding of the branching strategy in git repositories
Good to have knowledge of working in Agile methodology
Great exposure to microservices architecture.
Experience with building applications on cloud platform such as Docker, OpenShift
Proven implementation of design pattern and enterprise level architecture
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong organizational and project management skills
UI tech stack knowledge is a key
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
