Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Gather requirements and design and develop new data feeds to solve complex business problems. Conduct data analysis for complex systems and front-to-back flows using SQL. Recover functional specifications from data using reverse engineering. Collaborate with end-users and clients to understand business processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide requirements to the Development team and coordinate their implementation. Provide functional expertise for design of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process for the onboarding of fees to SMC Database. Work closely alongside IT and Operations partners. Resolve production issues as they are reported and escalate when necessary. Work with external data vendors including Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC, Markit, and standards organizations. Design linking and overwrite strategies to integrate multiple data vendors. Prepare business rule maps to enrich product reference data with information that is not readily available from external vendors. Conduct Systems Integrated Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Create Functional Specification Documents (FSD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), System Requirement Specifications (SRS), and test plans. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation creating business requirement documents. Eight (8) years of experience must include: Transferring securities reference data for various asset classes including equities, fixed-income, and derivatives, from external vendors including Bloomberg, Reuters, and Exchanges; Writing and optimizing advanced SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing; Architecting, designing, developing, and data modeling using RDBMS to ensure database structure meets application requirements and business needs; Designing, developing, and executing integrated architecture that aligns to the enterprise architecture plans and meets regulatory reporting requirements; Performing data discovery, data mapping, transformation logic for reporting, and reverse-engineering of functional specifications from data; Utilizing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and JIRA for testing, data validation, and user acceptance throughout the project lifecycle; Analyzing large data sets in various formats, including JSON, XML, and CSV, to assess data quality and present information to non-technical users; and Creating documents including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM), and performing acceptance criteria.
