Citi’s Human Resources (HR) team helps Citi to attract, retain and develop our employees across the globe.  The team does this through supporting key areas including recruiting, diversity, global learning and talent development, benefits, compensation and employee relations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Early Career Recruiter to lead our early career recruitment efforts in Australia. This role is responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle for our summer internship and graduate programs, from campus attraction to program execution. You will be instrumental in attracting and hiring high-potential candidates for our core business areas, including Banking, Markets, and Transaction Services. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a comprehensive campus recruitment strategy, including on-campus, in-house, and virtual events such as presentations, office visits, and interviews.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business leaders and university career services teams.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience throughout the end-to-end recruitment process.

  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), providing regular reporting and analysis on hiring metrics.

  • Oversee the summer internship program, including onboarding, training, event management, performance reviews, and the conversion process for full-time offers.

  • Collaborate with global counterparts to align on recruitment strategies and leverage best practices in talent development.

  • Partner with senior leaders to ensure early career programs are integrated into the broader business strategy and culture.

  • Develop and refine the company's employee value proposition to attract top early career talent.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A solid track record in campus recruiting or other relevant recruitment experience is highly desirable.

  • Proven experience in early talent recruitment and/or developing junior talent.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and manage senior stakeholders.

  • Experience owning the end-to-end campus hiring lifecycle, preferably in a standalone or small team environment.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Experience working with universities and managing large-scale events is an advantage.

  • Flexibility: Available for travel and to work some early mornings and evenings as needed during peak seasons.
