The Client Engagement Lead is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the business development involving strategy planning, business management, and the improvement of processes and work-flow in specified area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how business areas collectively integrate within sub-functions as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates complex and variable issues weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within and across teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits and junior team members. Significant impact in terms of portfolio, project size, business metrics contribution, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
Grow the Asia South Wealth business through product commercialization and client engagement across Investment, Insurance, Deposit, Card, and Payment products
Business development through partner management, actionable data-driven insights to achieve profitability, scale, business metrics, and client-centricity
Formulate strategy, develop action plan, and execute on client management of campaigns and events
Business optimization through digitalization, process rationalization, client targeting and selection, engagement content and leads management
Drive next-best-product, next-best-offer as a client owner, integrating analytical mindset and marketing know-how
P&L and business management (reporting, tracking, and analyzing granular business performance including financial accrual and payment management)
Focus on Singapore onshore and offshore markets with oversight and central control over United Arab Emirates business, while maintaining ownership in competitor landscape analysis and action plan
Take an active role in projects across the organization
Lead in Employee Value Proposition initiatives and activities
Take ownership in team governance across programs, events, and client activities, including controls design and testing, leading in audit and regulatory exercises
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience
Interest and ability to design client engagement strategies and campaigns from scratch, including execution and fulfilment
Strong relationship management skills across functions, from Controllers to Client-facing stakeholders
Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify and resolve problems
Appetite for challenging assignments and stretch beyond capacity
Structured thought process and habits with ability to multi-task
Ability to navigate around data with marketing know-how
Work experience in Product, Segment, Marketing, Data, Client Engagement functions
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree
