We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as a CG CPC Singapore Deposits Product Manager (C12). The Product Manager is an intermediate level position responsible for managing the deposits governance and regulatory product portfolio, audit deliverables, design (where relevant) management and execution of Manager Control Assessment (MCA) as well as management reporting. The Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) is Citi’s Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program owned by the 1st Line of Defense, used to manage Operational and Compliance Risks at the granular level and Citi’s primary method for Businesses & Functions to assess their granular Operational Risk exposures. The role involves interaction with stakeholders in Asia South Wealth and Global Deposit Product Organization, Control teams, Internal Audit, ORM, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Technology and external partners as relevant.

in this role, you’re expected to :

  • Manage regulatory initiatives (including Singapore Deposits Insured Corporation SDIC), internal & external audits, governance & controls
  • Key contact for SDIC including impact assessment, enhancements, annual submissions, related audits and training in close partnership with other product stakeholders, compliance, finance, Operations and Technology as well as training partners
  • Main Coordinator for Audit to manage deliverables, related reviews and coordinate across Deposits and Controls team to ensure timely and quality submission
  • Manage the planning and end to end execution of MCA Transformation program for Deposits, working closely with Global and Country stakeholders. Oversee quarterly MCA submission and gain expert-level knowledge of MCA Standard, Procedure, and tools to support future-state MCA
  • Ensure deposit project completion, special assignments and other ad hoc activities as required.
  • Support deposit related management reporting to Country, Regional, Global & Regulators
  • Assist in Incidents related to Deposits Product inline with the Wealth Escalation Process and Guidelines
  • Engage with IT, Digital, Ops and all relevant stakeholders for deposits governance related projects. Work with Technology & Ops in conducting UAT for system enhancements

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience working across multi-function and/or global business
  • Strong knowledge and experience of internal control principles is preferred.
  • Self starter with ability to manage external parties with little supervison
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills to interface with stakeholders across businesses and functions 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
